Supply teacher call-out for small schools

When a teacher is away, SupplyTeacher texts the supply teachers on the school's roster, one at a time, until someone accepts the assignment.

SupplyTeacher is software for schools. It is not a staffing agency and does not employ or place teachers. Each school keeps its own roster and books its own supply teachers.

How it works

  1. A teacher reports an absence: the dates, full day or half day, and lesson plans.
  2. SupplyTeacher texts the first supply teacher on the school's roster with the assignment details.
  3. They reply YES to accept or NO to pass. If they pass or don't answer within a few minutes, the next person is texted.
  4. The first person to reply YES gets the assignment and a confirmation text with a private link to the lesson plans.
  5. If nobody accepts, the school's administrator is notified and can book someone directly.

Texts are sent only between 6:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Eastern time.

Who receives texts

Only supply teachers who are on a participating school's supply roster and have agreed to receive SupplyTeacher texts. SupplyTeacher never sends marketing or promotional messages. See how supply teachers opt in.
