Terms
Effective October 16, 2026
SupplyTeacher is operated by Benjamin Van Arragon, a sole proprietor in Ontario, Canada. By joining SupplyTeacher's text list or using the service, you agree to these terms.
Supply assignment text messages
- Program: SupplyTeacher supply assignment texts. SupplyTeacher texts supply teachers to offer supply teaching assignments at the schools whose roster they have joined, to confirm assignments they accept, and to tell them when an assignment changes or is cancelled.
- Consent: you receive texts only after signing SupplyTeacher's consent form. Consent is not a condition of being on a supply roster.
- Frequency: varies with the schools' needs. Most months it is fewer than ten messages. Texts are sent only between 6:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Eastern time.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply. SupplyTeacher does not charge supply teachers.
- Opting out: reply STOP to any text to stop all SupplyTeacher texts. Reply START to opt back in.
- Help: reply HELP, or email hello@supplyteacher.ca.
- Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Accepting assignments
Replying YES accepts an assignment only if you are the first to accept it. If it has already been filled, you will be told. Your working arrangement, including pay, is between you and the school, not SupplyTeacher.
Schools
Schools using SupplyTeacher agree to add only supply teachers who have signed SupplyTeacher's consent form, and to keep their roster accurate.
The service
SupplyTeacher is provided as is. We work to deliver every message promptly but cannot guarantee delivery or that every absence will be filled. To the extent the law allows, SupplyTeacher is not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the service.
